We are the first ECO facility in Łeba! We care about the environment so that it could serve us for many millions of years! We take care of the Baltic Sea so that our guests can enjoy the summer baths and rest in a pleasant, natural environment. We carry out a full segregation of garbage (RECYCLING), the towels are washed in washing powders without the content of phosphates, which is one of the reasons for the development of toxic cyanobacteria in the Baltic Sea. The use of special aerators that pass a smaller amount of water, and at the same time do not affect the deterioration of the quality of use, allows us to save water. We wash the dishes only in energy-efficient dishwashers, which ensures low water and electricity consumption and hygiene. We use only unbleached ecological paper, derived from recycled paper, and we try to transfer most of the information inside the hotel in electronic form, which significantly reduces its consumption.
Our facility needs a lot of electricity, that’s why we save it using halogen lamps (up to 30% energy), energy-saving lamps or using LED technology. In addition, our external pool by the use of a special, movable, polycarbonate cover creates the effect of the greenhouse, thanks to which the water heats up without the use of electricity or fuel oil. Also thanks to this cover it can act as a closed pool and be used in adverse weather conditions.
In our SPA we have introduced new treatments, based on ecological cosmetics, produced by companies with the Fair Trade certificate, which guarantees the principles of fair trade and production.
